Colour

With all things natural, diamonds too, come with colour. In the normal colour range, diamonds are graded based on a D-Z colour range, with D as colourless and Z as faint yellow. The value of the diamonds is based on the absence of colour. Colourless diamonds are the rarest.

In the fancy colour diamond category, the value depends on the hues and rarity of the colours. Some of the rarest and most valuable coloured diamonds are in saturated pink, blue and green.
